Still in awe of the overwhelming love and support I got to be a part of Saturday. Seeing small communities come together and raise money for an amazing cause was inspiring. A huge thank you to the Schneider’s and Kaylyn for asking me to paint portraits of Cody for the auction. With a portrait painting, as an artist, you feel an obligation to capture the spirit of your subject and I hope these pieces can be a forever reminder of the great man Cody was and helps his spirit live on. It was an honor to contribute to y’all!

The last few days I've put in countless hours working on this piece. The damage caused by Hurricane Harvey affects so many people in so many places, but there is always hope on the horizon. The volunteers who took time away from their lives to come to the aid of hide in need is truly inspirational.
